Alison Pendergast is Chief Marketing Officer at Jones & Bartlett Learning and a veteran education industry executive. Prior to joining Jones & Bartlett in early 2009, Alison spent 20 years at Pearson Education where she held significant leadership roles in marketing, strategy and business development in the Higher Education Division. While at Pearson, Alison played a key role in developing and launching the first industry-wide platform for digital textbook distribution (www.CourseSmart.com), in addition to numerous other new digital products and services including Research Navigator (www.researchnavigator.com) and AccessText (www.accesstext.org) – a new national portal to help students with disabilities acquire print textbooks in alternate formats. In her spare time, she enjoys learning about new technolgies, blogging, reading and playing tournament poker. She is the author of Play Winning Poker in No Time (Que, 2005). Alison is a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of Connecticut Army ROTC program and received her MBA from Norwich University. She and her husband Jeff live just north of Boston MA. Andrea DeFronozo is the Sr. Marketing Manager working on the Computer Science, Math, and Science lists. She is a graduate of Westfield State College majoring in Communications and Public Relations. Alisha Weisman has been with Jones & Bartlett Learning for over 8 years, working first as Marketing Manager for the EMS list, eventually becoming Director of Marketing. She is a graduate of Babson College in Wellesley, MA and majored in entrepreneurship and marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends. Brian Rooney joined the Jones & Bartlett Learning Public Safety Team in 2002 as a sales specialist after earning a degree in Business Management from Assumption College. After a three year tenure in sales, Brian switched gears and joined the Marketing Department where he assumed marketing responsibilities for the JB Learning fire service product line and the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. He is grateful to be able to interact with and support the many great people within the fire, rescue, and emergency medical services on a daily basis. In time away from his position as Marketing Manager, Brian also assumes the roles of new father, lucky husband, dog walker, home renovator, outdoors enthusiast, camper, hiker, live music lover, and sports nut. Grace Richards loves promoting the Health Professions list for Jones & Bartlett Learning. In her spare time at home, Grace can often be found online shopping with coupon codes or hosting a dinner party, complete with courses of delectable drinks through decadent desserts. Jody Sullivan is the Associate Marketing Manager for the Health, Nutrition, and Sports Management list. A born and raised city girl, she is currently living in the ‘burbs and loves having a driveway. Jody is an avid reader (aka book nerd) who enjoys hanging out with her son and playing Guitar Hero. She is a graduate of Salem State College and majored in Communications/PR. Lindsay White enjoys promoting Engineering, Physics and Criminal Justice titles for Jones & Bartlett Learning. In her spare time, Lindsay can often be found running on trails, kayaking the many lakes and rivers from Boston to Cape Cod, or laughing with family and friends. She recently earned her green belt in American Kenpo Karate! Lindsay is a graduate of Framingham State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts. Rebecca Rockel is the Digital Marketing Manager for Jones and Bartlett Learning, focusing on eLearning, mobile products and digital marketing initiatives. She is a graduate from Emerson College with a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys reading, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.
